Rising star, Ella Vos, just released a new single this week and it is already well on its way to one million plays on Spotify in just seven days. (Check it out here!) “You Don’t Know About Me” is a powerful song about insensitivity and bigotry. “I wrote a song about ignorance,” Ella states in an interview with music blog, Pigeons and Planes. “About all those little comments we combat throughout the day. About choosing to replace those words with empowering statements. This is my body. About learning to be strong. About not letting anyone tell me who I should or shouldn’t be.”
The video premieres on Refinery29 on Monday, May 22 and on Vevo on Tuesday, May 23.
